Dr. Werner is a St. Louis native and grew up in the Fenton area. He attended DePaul University in Chicago where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Biological Sciences. Following graduation from DePaul, Dr. Werner was employed in a scientific research capacity for DePaul University and Northwestern University and was published in several national scientific journals. He attained a Master’s Degree in Public Health from St. Louis University where he studied the incidence of disease. While pursuing his Master’s Degree, he also worked in the Infectious Disease Department at Washington University School of Medicine. Subsequently, Dr. Werner attended Logan College of Chiropractic where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Biology and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. His scientific education allows him to view human health from research to hands-on chiropractic care.
Dr. Werner’s long-term goal was to have his own chiropractic practice and his dream was realized when he took the reins at Morris Family Chiropractic. Dr. Werner has a passion for family chiropractic and wants people of all ages to benefit from good health made possible by chiropractic care. At Morris Family Chiropractic, Dr. Werner will introduce the use of ART® (Active Release Technique) for the management of soft tissue problems. He particularly enjoys working with athletes of all disciplines. Recently, Dr. Werner joined other Logan students in assisting athletes at the PanAmerican Games in Guadalajara, Mexico.
Dr. Werner is a member of the Affton Chamber of Commerce, The Gravois Kiwanis Club, and is fully committed to the Affton community. He is a member of the Missouri Chiropractic Association, The American Chiropractic Association, The International Chiropractors Association, The American Public Health Association, The Missouri Public Health Association, and the International Federation of Sports Chiropractic. He is also a member of the Free and Accepted Masons and Sigma Phi Episilon Fraternity.
Dr. Werner has a penchant for travel, especially international, and enjoys music of all genres. He spends a sizable amount of time at his family’s home at Lake of the Ozarks.
