Throw-Back Thursday: Children's History Programs

Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site will offer free hands-on history programs for children and their families on Thursday mornings in June and July. Children will be engaged in a variety of activities related to the people who lived at White Haven in the 19th century or to the centennial of the National Park Service. Program topics will vary each week. Activities are most appropriate for ages 6 and up, but younger siblings will certainly find something fun to do as well. Reservations are recommended and may be made by calling 314-842-1867 ext. 230.

Crestwood Animal Shelter Spay-ghetti Dinner

For just $10.00 you can enjoy a great dinner and support the Crestwood Animal Shelter.  You get a delicious spaghetti dinner, which includes spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, dessert and coffee or water.
 
Children 5 and under are free.
 
In addition to dinner, you can also purchase soda, beer, mixed drinks and delicious homemade baked goods.
 
There will also be goodie baskets and the Crestwood Animal Shelter cookbooks for sale.
